Tell us your favorite...
**Song: Too many to list, but a few are Opeth's The Drapery Falls, Iced Earth's Pure Evil, Iced Earth, and Dracula. Iron Maiden's Aces High, Powerslave, Rime of the Ancient Mariner, The Trooper, and 2 Minutes to Midnight. Judas Priest's The Ripper, Electric Eye, and Victim of Changes. Shit, my whole survey could be favorite songs...so I'll stop here
**Band: Opeth, MSI, Iced Earth, Judas Priest, Dimmu Borgir, Iron Maiden, Avenged Sevenfold, Coheed and Cambria, Metallica, Megadeth, Overkill, Slayer, Soilwork, Meshuggah, Symphony X, etc. etc. etc.
**Genre of music: Power Metal, Progressive Metal, Thrash, Black Metal, Death Metal, Hardcore, Metalcore, Prog. Rock, Hip-hop...but mostly metal...all kinds of metal.
**Concert Attended: Mindless Self Indulgence with Tub Ring, Uncle Fucker, and Coping with Ignorance...last Thanksgiving @ Jillians in Lousiville, KY.
What music do you think is best for...
**Driving to: A nice set of various genres of Heavy metal...because singing along to it makes the road rage dissappear.
**Crying to: Coheed and Cambria...or shitty emo...because the poor quality of the music makes crying easy.
**Being mad/angry to: Really hard Death Metal, Deicide is a personal favorite of mine.
**Waking up to: Radiohead...or Opeth
**Breaking up to: Spitalfield, or any kind of good emo music
**Happy moods: Iron Maiden...the lighter side of metal
**Making out/making Love/being romantic: Classical...perhaps a nice Chopin waltz or one of Grieg's masterpieces.
**If you could meet any musician/band, dead or alive, who would it be and why?: Les Claypool...because he is my musical idol. He's a bass god and even when his popularity with Primus arose, he didn't morph into the rock star that most musicians turn into.
**Do you play any instruments or sing?: I play the piano, bass, and guitar. I love playing the guitar...it feeds my happiness and gives me a great sense of accomplishment. I used to sing as a second tenor in choir...but smoking has done damage to my voice, so I can't sing as well any more.
**How many cd's do you own?: Too many to count...probably around 200 that are tangible, but if you factor in all the albums I have on my computer, that number probably goes up to around 4-500.
**How many concerts have you been to?: not enough. I can count at least 10.
**On a scale of 1-10, how important is music to you?: there is no number high enough that could express the importance of music in my life.
**On a scale of 1-10, how open-minded about new music are you?: 10, I always give a fair shot to any style of music or band...but if I don't like them, I'll express it.
